The Long Beach Unified School District Visual Arts Department, in collaboration with the Alpert Jewish Community Center, has opened the 32nd Annual Norman Gottlieb Youth Art Exhibition. The exhibit continues through Friday, March 4 at the center.
An awards reception for the student artists is set for 6:30 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25 at the center, located at 3801 E. Willow St., Long Beach.
The reception and exhibit are free and open to the community.
The exhibit features 94 masterpieces, including two-dimensional and three-dimensional work in a variety of media, from high school and middle school students.
