School Choice Fairs Attract Thousands

More than 6,200 people attended the annual High School Choice Fair held recently at Cabrillo High School, an increase of more than 2,100 people over the previous year.

In addition to the districtwide fair, the Long Beach Unified School District offered four regional fairs, attracting a total of 2,225 students. That total represents an increase of more than 1,000 over last year’s regional fairs. At the fairs, parents learn about high school programs and the application process.
