School Board Member at White House

Sixty big-city public school districts from across the country released a pledge to improve the academic and social outcomes of boys and young men of color, the Council of the Great City Schools announced yesterday at a White House event with President Obama.

The Long Beach Unified School District was represented at the event by Board of Education Member Felton Williams, who also was recently named secretary-treasurer of the Council of the Great City Schools.
