Volunteers Sought for Bond Oversight

LBUSD seeks qualified individuals to serve on the independent Citizens’ Oversight Committee for the implementation of the Measure K School Facilities Bond program.  Applications are due by 4 p.m. Friday, April 26.

The application and further details are available here.

Voters within the school district approved Measure K in November 2008.  The $1.2 billion bond measure authorizes funding for needed repairs, upgrades and new construction projects within LBUSD.  The Citizens’ Oversight Committee monitors Measure K expenditures and is required by state law.
