An independent auditing firm found that the school district's finances are exceedingly well managed.
A 97-page report presented to the Board of Education this month said the district's well run finances qualify it as a "low-risk auditee" and that the audit "did not disclose any items of non-compliance."
Only about 5 percent of school districts statewide earn such high marks on their finances. The annual audit report was issued after weeks of close scrutiny of district financial statements and records by independent auditors from the Vicenti, Lloyd, Stutzman firm.
