Twelve-month employees may need to adjust the days they choose to take as vacation due to a required change in their scheduled work days.
Although the originally approved calendar designated Dec. 24 as a regular work day and Dec. 26 as a Board-declared holiday for 12-month employees, the CSEA contract requires that Dec. 24 be a Board-declared holiday.
The Board of Education this week corrected the oversight, making Dec. 24 a holiday and setting Friday, Dec. 26 as a regular work day.
