Aquarium of the Pacific Partnership
Cesar Chavez Elementary School works closely with the educators from the Aquarium of the Pacific. Each grade has an assigned Aquarium educator who brings marine science lessons to the school. Room 18 at Chavez is filled with materials used by the Aquarium and Chavez teachers to bring hands-on science lessons to the students. Students also visit the Aquarium throughout the year to explore the galleries and connect the ocean to their reading and writing curriculum. Look for opportunities to bring your family to enjoy the Aquarium free of charge at our end of year "Brag Night" event. Come see what your children have learned!

The Children's Clinic Family Health Center at Cesar Chavez Elementary School
The Children's Clinic, Serving Children and Their Families, is a system of non-profit Federally Qualified Health Centers in Long Beach. The Children's Clinic provides sliding scale fee schedule or low cost comprehensive health care and health promotion. We accept most medi-Cal managed care insurance programs, as well as the uninsured. No one is denied care due to an inability to pay or immigration status. We see all ages, pediatrics and adults. If you and your family do not already belong to a medical home or have a primary care provider, contact us about enrollment at (562) 435-5040. Our hours are Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.
